Introducing the Tidepool Triad, a hand-crafted cutting board woven from cherry, maple, and walnut—three woods that drift together like shoreline memories after a storm.

Picture a single ribbon of wild cherry, sun-bleached to the color of a lifeguard’s faded buoy, flanked by maple so pale it holds the glare of noon over breaking waves. Between them runs a dark walnut vein—black coffee at low tide—its knots swirling like tidepools that trap moonlight and secrets. The artisan planes each strip by hand, then marries them with hidden butterfly keys of maple, so the board flexes like a dock in the swell instead of splitting under a chef’s knife.

The live edge traces an actual coastline: a cove scooped by a century of Pacific surf, a promontory sharp enough to cradle a lemon wedge.

Rub it with mineral oil laced with sea salt and Meyer lemon zest; the cherry blushes deeper, the maple drinks the scent of citrus fog, and the walnut exhales warm driftwood. Slice sashimi on it and the steel sings across the grain like gulls over kelp. Dice shallots and the board answers with a soft, briny perfume that lingers until the last oyster is shucked.
